Panay, island, central Philippines, the northernmost of the Visayan Islands, between Negros and Mindoro islands. The sixth largest island in the Philippines, It is bounded by the Sibuyan Sea on the north, the Visayan Sea on the east, the Sulu Sea on the south, and the Cuyo East Pass on the west. The Panay plain in the east central part of the island is the primary agricultural region of Panay; rice and sugar are produced here. Coconuts are grown in the north and northeast, and corn is planted in the mountainous interior. Fishing, copper mining, sugar processing, and the manufacture of handicrafts, particularly piña, or pineapple, fiber, are important industries on the island.

Panay comprises four provinces: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo, which includes neighboring Guimaras. The cities of Iloilo in the south and Roxas in the north are connected by railroad and are the major commercial centers of Panay. The municipality of Panay was the first Spanish settlement on the island.

My Favorite Music

I am fun of listening to music, most especially with my favorite music and songs. Its fun listening to music because there are lots of things that music can do to me. For example, when I felt sad and alone, just listen to my favorite music, it cam lessen what I felt of being sad and alone. Even I am happy, I also want to listen to my favorite music because it can add more happiness to me. It is also one way to gain friends, just because of music, and also it is very entertaining.

I am more enjoying music with my friends, most especially when we are jamming i n our favorite place. We spend time to it and also a way to us for bonding. In listening to my favorite music, it helps me relax and comfortable. It can ease the pain I felt inside me and make me good. Listening music with someone you like is very enjoying because you will felt more in loved every time you were together sharing your thoughts while listening to music.

Riding on a Ferris Wheel

Riding in the vehicles is not that fun riding on this one of the rides in the amusement because there is less pollution and it will make you relax and comfortable. Also you can see far places when you’re at the top corner of this side. It is no other than the Ferris wheel.

It is more enjoying and relaxing when you sit and relax then it will go round and return, turning to left side, upward, right side and downward. But be amazed when it stopped, especially when you are in the top. You can see those things or places you cannot see when your only walking, the lights, buildings, and other things that you surely seen when you experience to ride on a Ferris wheel and it was fun being there.

A Priced Possession

Each one of us has this things we want in life that we want to get in a way that we can say that we experience hard work for that. It will start from small things before we succeed or before we can say that we are totally contended of what we are or what we have.

In my own experience, I can say when we are still in our high school years with my friends in our place; we are always task to join the basketball game. First, in our baranggay, we compete with other baranggay, but unfortunately we did not win. But because of this, last summer, we again joined in the Inter-baranggays league. We are now much dedicated to win but we also thought that this thing is only a friendly game between the teenagers in the baranggay.

We always practice sometimes in morning and afternoon, but most of the time, afternoon. We are obliged to awake early in the morning for us to have an exercise to have a healthy body and strong legs. After a long time of practicing, here comes the game, we didn’t expect that we will win on the first game, but luckily, we won on. Also in the next game, we also won and the championship. We are the team won on that game after those tiring days of practicing. It is much contented on what we do when you made sacrifice for it and you really made hard work to come up wit the result of priced possession.

My Favorite Toy

As a child, there are lots of things that we want to do that one day is not enough for us to make things we wanted. One of these things I wanted to do is to play. To play with my favorite toy because it can ease my sad moments when I started to play it. It also adds happiness to me when I’m happy.

This toy was given to me by my mother. She bought me a toy robot when I was still a cute little child. I am so happy when she gave it to me; I always play it, almost everyday because for me, he is my friend, my best friend. For I was only boy, I’m not that time. Before and after eating I played with my favorite toy and also before bedtime, I want it to be on my side while I’m sleeping.

Unfortunately, because of overplayed of my toy, it happened that it is broken, so I cant play it anymore, but I will never forgot that robot because it gave me happiness o my childhood life and it was my favorite toy.

A Place I Dreamed of

I know all of us thinking or wishing a place that is perfect. But in the situation in our environment or specially in our country, it is impossible because there are lots of problems and we people are lack in unity and peace, all we think is far ourselves. But for me, I’m dreaming and hoping that one day, we will have a community or a place that we can called a perfect place for us.

I was thinking of a place where there are equally distributed people in each place to lessen the pollution in such a place. Also a place where the people are helping each other and they don’t think only of themselves and they also cooperating for the betterment of their places and have discipline with each other. A place near in the establishments for the people to not waste their time only for riding and also the highways are properly done and far from accidents. And a place where I can stay with my family, friends, and love ones. This is the place I was dreaming of.

A Place near Water

Obviously, the people living near water maybe dangerous or maybe it will help the people living there. A place like this can be helpful to the people because of fishes they will get there. They can sell it in the good way and that’s one way to have them food to eat. Also they will not lack in water. But make sure that they will not pollute the water they are using because it can cause disease or sickness to the people especially the living things lived under the water.

In the case that it will be dangerous to the [people a place near water, it has a big effect to them. It can destroy their fields if they have or even it can damage their houses most especially when there a big waves. Also, their lives might be in danger too. So, for the people who lived in a place near water, they must be aware of the things might happen to them.

To see is to Belive

Most of us are easily frightened of places that are mostly no people living at that place. But for me, as I have no experience like this, I’m not easily frightened. In my own perception, frightening in a place is only in our minds that we thought immediately that there are people looking us, for example when we are in a place that is too quite or when we are only one at that time . It is also because of the movies we already watched in the television. If we are easily scared, it is also affects us that we became an easily frightened person at the places we saw in the Medias or televisions.

For me, maybe I will be frightened of a place when at my first step, I will have Goosebumps and I will felt something that I haven’t yet felt before. But all I can say is that we are testing if we have faith in God by this event, so we must have more faith and always trust in God.

A Shopping Mall

Lots of people want to go in a place where they will enjoy and also for a couple of minutes or hours, they can forget their problems. One place we can say that can enjoy and entertain us in a shopping mall, there are lots of thing you can choose like dress, shoes, gadgets,

entertainment showcase, etc. and also you can eat in a mall because there are lots of food court inside of it. And most of the time, one day is not enough for you to enjoy the place.

Of course, it’s more enjoying when you have companion when you go to this place. Like your friends, family or even your special someone because you have someone

whom you can talk and share what you feel when you in a mall. It has also

cinema where you can watch in a big screen that helps you relax and also you may bring with you snacks to eat while you are watching. A shopping mall is a place that you can call a complete house that all you need is in there.

I Intimidate it

Maybe when we are child, this is the time we most experienced that we are intimidating by other people especially, bigger or adult persons than us. Because this is the time when our minds are not only matured that we can’t say that we are only scared by them even if it is not true or they are just only making fun of us.

I have this experience when I was in my elementary years. I’m studying at Capiz Commercial School since I was in grade one until in my grade four. One of the teachers there maybe making fun of scaring me, he is telling me the things I don’t want to hear. Then I told this to my mother and she decided on my next school year, she will transfer me in other school, and it was Filamer Christian College. But now, when I thought of that time, I just smile because I realized that he was only trying me to scare. Fortunately, I am not now a person who easily scared of things those others was scared of.
